This piece is a small portion of a larger project. My team at Vidzu Media wanted to utilize an interactive format to show clients how their decisions effect their final project and message. You can view the larger project here.
The idea was to show a Documentary, Animation, Product video. I drew inspiration from a paper doll concept that utilized cut outs. I decided that our fictional product (a block of wood) could be showcased as a texture in stop motion animation. I found stock clips that worked well for the style and printed frames. I then cut out the figures and took photos over a large wood surface. It was slow going but the effect turned out really well.
