Who am I anyway... I'm glad you asked!

I am a St. Louis native. I went to Rosati-Kain high scool and graduated in 2004. I then proceeded to Webster University.
I know it sounds corny but if it hadn't been for a documentary on HBO I would never have gotten into media. I was in the process of taking a film appreciation class and watching all these great films every week. I was constantly thinking how awesome it would be if I could be part of that legacy.
Then one fortuitus day I turned on the TV, as all great thinkers are apt to do. There it was, a documentary on the art of editing.
I've never been the master of coming up with something out of nothing, but I have always been the queen of clarification. I am skilled at improving upon basic inspirations. Editing was my kind of creative. I took a class on Avid and I was hooked. I knew it was what I wanted to do.
While post is my main interest I am also pretty handy with a camera. I've shot several projects not only for school but also for freelance projects such as an employee appreciation video for St. Louis University Hospital as well as the St. Louis Kazoo feast 2008.
I just recently graduated from Webster with a B.A. in video production and I'm in the market for both freelance and more steady jobs. For freelance jobs I also work frequently with my fiancee Stewart Smith www.lifeofstew.com
